DELIVERY, DEPOSITS, RETURNS

Purchases In Stock

All items purchased that are in stock will be dispatched within 3 working days of order placement.

I use recycled packaging as much as possible (my way of helping to save the planet) and due to the nature of product will be a practical wrap rather than a pretty one.

Non-commissioned Items for sale on She Shed Ceramics website may be returned at the purchaser's expense, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and return the piece within 14-days, undamaged and in the original packaging and monies will be refunded (excluding original postage).

I don't accept exchanges or cancellations, but please contact me if you have any problems.

Commissions

If a commissioned piece of artwork is ordered it is by its nature, bespoke, and as such cannot be returned unless the item is damaged upon receipt.

All commissioned pieces require a 50% deposit with the balance payable once the piece is complete, it will then be dispatched.  Upon receipt of the deposit (from the date the deposit is received by She Shed Ceramics), there is a 14-day 'cooling off' period whereby the client may cancel the commission and the deposit will be returned. During the commission process, communication and photos will be exchanged to confirm the piece is as intended.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I cannot accept returns for:

  • Commissioned Pieces

  • Personalised Pieces

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

NOTE: She Shed Ceramics endeavours to complete a commissioned piece of work within an agreed time scale; however by the nature of the materials used, occasionally a piece of ceramic artwork may be damaged during the sculpting/firing processes, in which case She Shed Ceramics will notify the client to discuss options.

Prices are upon request and exclude postage and packing.

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including: as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support; when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list; if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the She Shed Ceramics Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under SheShed Ceramics Policy and Terms of Use. 3. The third parties with whom I share personal information

However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
